The processes by which individuals influence which emotions they have, when they have them and how they experience and express their emotions.

How do you control your emotions ?

Do you express them as you feel them ?

Do you regulate them and take the reins on them rather than the emotions taking control ?

Increase/Decrease positive emotions ?

Increase/decrease negative emotions ?

What strategies do you engage with when dealing with situations that give rise to positive or negative emotions ?

Walking helps me switch off if I need to. Cooking prep is one of my thinking zone's but I have to remember I have a knife in my hand music, poetry, quiet time alone they all help me through whatever is going on for me.
