Any legal eagles like to give their opinion on section 45 of the sexual offences act 2017?
To me it looks like if you are caught dogging or if the Gardai form an opinion that you have been dogging that you can be arrested without warrant. |

As far as I’m aware this has always been the case , at no time in the Republic of Ireland has dogging been legal it has always been an arrest able offense and was always down to an officer deciding whether to arrest or not . Bear in mind if arrested and sent to court the judge will put you on the sex offenders register at his discretion . |
