Hey gals just wondering when you meet with other fabbers do you wear condoms when giving blowjobs or do you just take it as you wont catch any sti's from it ??? |

I think you may be wrong on your suggestion that you don't catch any std's from no cover....
I have an additional question to add.. If a woman gives a bj with a condom then surely the rubber taste and texture is awful for her even if it is a fruit flavour condom?

Kilkenny, but Dublin is more fun |
Not giving blow jobs definitely does solve the problem quite a lot, but unfortunately my willpower isn't enough to go without giving oral.
While covering my face with clingfilm probably would work, it doesn't sound too sexy at all. |

"Ya cant put a condom in a vagina so its kind of pointless! I think you've just got to know that the people involved are STD/I free! " And thats very hard to know |

Definitely is. Sure even the people who have them probably don't know. |

I can tell you 0.000001% of people giving bjs use condoms.
The answer is regular checking.
For those of us who are shy Google let's get checked who do it anonymously and by post. |

Regular checkups, good oral hygiene and a decent antibacterial mouthwash all help to minimise risk. I've never had an sti, so it must be working well. I was however told at my local GUM clinic that most of the infections they detect these days are in the mouth and throat. |

I've never been asked to wear a condom for a blow job,I keep expecting it to happen eventually . I've been asked to remove condom's for a blow job several times though. I'm a gentleman so always do when requested |

It's a tricky one too understand.People say you can get stds etc yet would not think twice about sex without a condom.I meet a girl once who would only give oral with a condom but wanted oral herself. She could'nt understand what i was saying when i tried too explain it being the same thing |

The rates of throat and neck cancers have soared recently in young men due to the fact we live a more promiscious lifestyle multiple sexual partners performing oral sex on women infected with a certain strain of hpv that attacks the soft tissue in the back of the throat..as if we dont have enough to worry about in life we cant even eat pussy in peace no more |

What a insensitive way to word that! Where are these statistics you are quoting? It's only recently been linked to HPV virus so all the studies and stats are recent. HPV and promiscuity is not recent. The majority of people have had it at some stage and probably been unaware of it due to lack of symptoms and the fact that it can lay dormant in your system so it's impossible to track back.
Rather than try to scare monger or lament the inconvenience it is for you, you could promote getting checked regularly as this is the only way to detect it. |

What about HPV and promiscuity? Even if you've only one sexual partner, you can still get it. |

There is no test for hpv..it cant be detected in blood samples..unless every sexually active male takes a swap of cells from the back of his throat and has it analysed this is the only way to test for it and the last time i got tested i had a urine and blood sample taken for all common stis ..This will not detect any strain of hpv..The danger here is you only find out you have this cancer when its too late and smokers are more susceptible to it

Thats true even if youve only ever had 1 sexual partner you can become infected with these strains of hpv if your partner is a carrier themselves but having multiple sexual partners increases the risk of catching these strains of hpv |

I know. I was merely saying that HPV is not recent. Nor is promiscuity. I wasn't for a second suggesting that you only get it due to promiscuity as I stated most people will have it in their lifetime. |

Then every sexually active man should be swabbed if that's the case, just like every sexually active woman should be. If a smear or a swab can detect something and prevent it from occuring. Do it.
HPV is not treatable but rectifies itself usually and men usually clear it out of their system quicker than women.
Women alone are not responsible for the spread of HPV. |

Do you mean there's no gum clinic test for hpv, because I know that every time I attend a colposcopy clinic they check for hpv. And any time I attend a gum clinic they take a throat swab, admittedly not for hpv as far as I'm aware, but it's possible to have a swab test done.
I've never had a urine test done at a gum clinic, is that only for men? |

Totally agree.. when we get our smears they can detect it. |
