"personally I dont have a problem but how did a local rag get to know about it??"
Maybe they are members of kk? Maybe someone mailed them with the info? Maybe they are members here? There's lots of ways journalists get a story.
But I'm sure that kk will vet everyone going as much as possible. But it's hard to keep 100% of journalists out. It's people having a shit fit about stuff in the press that give the story the air it requires to grab attention. |

Of course it will go ahead why wouldn't it. Its not like the general public can just turn up for a gawk. Kk run big events all over the place and I'm sure they will just tighten security etc. It wouldn't put me off if I was going. |

In fairness to KK they do their very best to ensure discretion. The location itself is never released until 24 hours beforehand. If reporters wanted to pose as punters its pretty hard to stop them as we found out with the sunday world saga. That could have happened at almost any party or M&G. A little small town talk like this certainly wouldn't stop us going to kk again. |

Ah come on folks, be fair.
Laois needs the tourist Euros. They'll probably get more from the paparazzi than the attendees
Make sure you look stunning going in, with masks, though maybe try not to get papped coming out, with that Cheshire cat grin you'll all be wearing |

Without trying to put a dampener on the party and KK doing tbeir best to keep location a secret. You dont have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out where it will be held.As there arent that many houses to hire in the area big enough to hold a party in. |

Annnnnddddd this is why so few people bother to organise anything worth while.
Few people understand the herculean effort that goes into arranging and organising events, from securing a worthy venue, to the invites, to the politics, to the security involved, to concerns about people's privacy, to the bitchyness that goes with it..... and then there's the schadenfreude when something DOES go wrong...
Admittedly I don't know the circumstances here but I'd wager some arsehole couldn't keep his or her mouth shut.
It's all well and good mocking and taking jibes but don't forget the people in this community have lives. Jobs. Family. Children. They deserve a degree or privacy and a chance to unwind without fear of exposure, shame or humilation. To that end our community works with one guiding principle; discretion.
Keep your damned mouth shut if you're asked.
If this IS true my heart goes out to the organisers of the event, to have such hard work sullied by bitter personages is frustrating in the extreme.
I've had it happen to myself and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. |

Couldnt agree more with you. I was amazed that it was in the Sun, Laois today and joe.ie. How the hell did they find out?? And why as you say couldnt people keep their big mouths shut. Anyone who goes to these parties , does so willingly.Knowing what will take place. They are not breaking any laws, so why someone decides to tell a rag is beyond me |

U see that's the thing about the written word it can be twisted because the way I read his post was his dismay that the party was mentioned on a local web page. Yet u seem to think he was celebrating the fact it was mentioned, i guess u discarded the sad face emogis which he used to give his words emotion |

Kk is a business run for profit, their events are openly advertised on their website and they don't seem averse to publicity - like most businesses attempting to make money.

"Just saw that theres a kk party in Laois on June 9th. Its on Laois todays web page. "
And this is a problem because??
Let all the newspapers write an article about it if they want.
So what??
Keep in mind these are people who have families jobs etc.
They value their privacy. So do the other swingers who aren't attending KK.
Something which seems to be lost in translation on fab.

Didn't the owner appear on the late late before an ex school colleague Kate Midelton haha
Anyway who cares if it's in the papers if you're not going it shouldn't bother you and if you are you probably aren't bothered by it anyway |

"Just the young and beautiful they let in to their parties. I don’t really care for their picking and choosing aspect or the grossly overpriced tickets.
