Just to be clear, its the younger gentleman that we are struggling with and many other couples/ladies that we know are the same.
A reliable, single 30 something, attractive, in good shape and respectful seems to be near in possible to find.
So, if you fit the criteria but are nervous/shy, its completely understandable but you don't need to be like that! I have no problem meeting up with you for a chat in the city, you will see we are all here for the same reason.
Plus, we know plenty of couples/single girls in the same boat as us, we can introduce you to them. You will have a ball..

A lot that I have chatted to prefer one on one and yes you will still get the no shows and last minute cancellations for whatever reasons! Maybe new middle ground is the answer but positive feedback is needed from both sides. |

I spent my late 30's on Fab as a single guy. I'm not the best looking bloke in the world, but I did well enough for myself, and it was because I took swinging seriously. I posted on forums, engaged people, and I wasn't an arsehole (unless someone was being an arsehole to me)
But the most important thing was, I put myself out there.

..a lot of references to lads shitting themselves is a tad unrealistic id say..good looking males in their thirties..well endowed and emotionally intelligent enough to take part in a threesome sustaining the event for a decent amount of time...hmmmmm...i wonder why these guys are in short supply..

In the defence of the single guy, it can be an arduous task at times! I have always put myself out there (with the exception of the drop everything and go style request) Couples are just as likely to pull out with cold feet or a sudden shift in preference....At the very least from my admittedly limited experience! |

So, since I posted this on Friday, we have been inundated by messages, i have asked around 10 single guys of the type who mailed us that we are looking for to come to our next social.. all made some excuses why they couldnt come along. Weekends dont suit? I am too far away etc.
The only one that committed to it was slightly outside the demographic we are looking for. |

you guys seem to be the exception to the rule,we have on a good few occasions decided to reach out to the single guys here and on every occasion we have had let downs in some shape or form..last minute cancellations because the dog eat my homework...they decided to cancel and not bother telling us...or on the day trying to rearrange at the last minute..so we have come to the conclusion of fuck it why bother trying cos your just going to get a no show...all talk and no balls. |

probably because it's been a real shitty day so I'm not sure if your being serious or not...but all I can say is if we've reached out to single guy's and said individuals for what ever reasons ( which are many and varied and mostly let u know after babysitter is at the house and we are in town waiting )...how is it not THEIR fault cos it sure as vinegar isn't down to the couples or single lady's who find themselves in that situation. |

I continued this thread because we mainly enjoy the social side, its nothing to with finding someone for Gemma(It could happen obviously if we hit it off) Its purely about coming to a Social organized by us.
In the last few weeks we have come to the conclusion that the under 40s single male on here is either too nervous or just a time waster and not bothered in attending a social. They have absolutely no need to be. We know so many couples who are looking for a 30 something single to join them for a MMF. Its really difficult to find one that will show up just to a social.
Also for the older gentleman, if you think we are being ageist, its not that, its because people who attend are mostly 30 somethings who are looking for similar age peeps to meet.
In saying that, if you look like Sam Elliot more than welcome to attend. Gemma has at thing for that kinda older gentleman ?? |

Well if it's not time wasting then what is it because I'm at a loss...if you say you'll meet and have spoke to each other for a week or more then meet its not that hard to work out and in that setting it's always the couples who have the most work to do,baby sitter/child minder and other things....it's not on our profile to meet single guy's but we did a number of times throw caution to the wind and say well try a MFM meet but on at least 5 occasions we we're let down after lenghty chat with those people,and when your partner begins to wonder if it's her then you do say to yourself fk this bullshit and just put the filter back up to block single guy's. |

Not shy, but my work hours make meets difficult.
