It's great crack everybody giddy and excited up so early and the full Irish in a cafe that opens early for the walkers goes down a treat plus its for such a very good cause that affects so many people in this country

Darkness into light is a 5k walk or run starting at 4.15 on the 12th of may...for pieta house.

Just to add the walks are hosted across the country and pieta house is a suicide awareness programme that assists in crisis situations

Ah yes. I know of Pieta House. A very worthy cause.

An old friend of mine was buried last September after suffering from depression for quite a while and I know that Pieta House had tried to help him. Are any of the runs happening up North here? How can I find out details?

I volunteered a couple of years ago anf it is one of the most humbling experiences ever as we were cheerimg people on they were thankimg us. So if u cant run or walk volunteer to help out. Xx

There are several up north including ormeau park, valley park and hannastown, others across the country too
