Hey all,
Some of you know me and some don't but please take note of the fact that I've been involved in the scene for quite some time and do not lack for experience....
I usually steer clear of the forums, however it has come to my attention that it appears there are a pair of (what I suspect to be) journalists on site masquerading as a couple. They have pictures up and are verified with the Green Flag.... however none of their pictures or their 'linked content' are in any way explicit (all face pictures and all look suspiciously 'staged') and although they advertise looking for males when I happened to message them they claimed to be first time party-goers and were VERY interested in knowing more about events, specifically WHERE and WHO....
When I informed them that such matters are kept confidential untill we can assure ourselves they were genuine they deleted the profile and started up a new one..... same stuff as before....
Now I freely admit I could be completely wrong... but having been a victim of an exposé in one our NationalRags (I refuse to call it a newspaper) I have developed a somewhat keen swinger-sense.... and it is buzzing like crazy in this instance!!
So beware... mind yourselves and one another.
Helpful hints;
Explicit pics which are clearly the couple in the profile usually is a good indicator.
Examine verifications and 'cross verifications'.... veris aren't enough... ensure the profile is verified by a number of people who are themselves verified by other DIFFERENT well known verified people.
If people claim to have no problem posting their face then they should have no problem sharing x-rated pics with another couple IN PRIVATE....!!
Le sigh.... just be cautious guys... use your gut instinct. If something feels off or odd, it usually is..
This site and our little community runs on trust and discretion. Let's try and keep that alive and look out for one another.

Saw their profile this morning and pics. It was written by him and said his wife writes a blog. On the same note, two ladies joined last week and asked for help from gents. Within half an hour of joining, both had been verified by two males each with a in person verifications. Both said on their profiles that they heard about Fab from friends and decided to join. So it wasn’t like they’d been here before and decided to rejoin. |

Verifications are, unfortunately, deeply flawed. They're a good tool for the basic assumption someone isn't a total psycho but realistically speaking networking, socialising, partying and introductions (also word of mouth) are the only ways to ensure anyone is genuine. Use veris only as the vaguest of guidelines.
I've had people verify me whom I hadn't even spoken a word to.... males and couples. So go figure. |

Nothing new about journalists having profiles here - they have had them for years, well verified, they do attend events - and Yes, they have written 'articles' for the rags - even had photos of Fabbers printed leaving nothing to the imagination.
If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. |

Holy crap!! Thanks for the heads up!! I had no idea that cud be done but cheers for that il be much more wary now of who I accept and don't accept as friends etc cheers guys. Happy fabbing x Cutie xx  |

Heads up cutie these forums can be read by anybody u don't have to be a member the jurno's read them daily
As an exercise log out of ur profile and search fabswingers once the site opens up see how much u can see without having to join it may surprise u  |
