Do you use the mark unread button for messages and why?

Sometimes if I think a message requires a decent reply and I don't have the time. I delete anything else.

I do

there are some people I choose not to reply to and find if I read and leave it they can get smart with you! Where as unread they tend to stop mailing

As a couple we use it if it a message we want to reply to but mark unread until we both read it as maybe one is working etc

I've to confess I use it sometimes when I'm not in the mood or don't have time to reply. The marked unread reminds me later to reply.
