Ok I recently had some surgery under general anaesthetic (approx 6hrs) that has shifted my tastebuds to left of center...... been a couple of weeks at this stage and no sign of them being reset. Am I deztined to not be able to appreciate a good gin again?? HELP!!!! |

"It took a month post op for my taste buds to switch back between sweet and salty
K x"
Thanks for your response - everything I taste (and I do mean EVEEYTHING) tastes different. It's hard to describe other than how I did in OP. SO I might have another couple of months to get through...... ok. |

Takes quite a while to recover from a general anaesthetic. The important thing is you're here to tell the tale and hopefully things will normalise soon. |
