I’ve ran it a few times before alright. A lot of hills lol. Great support and atmosphere up there. Hope to do four this year myself. |

Good luck OP with the training. The route around the belfast course is poor, that's probably the only reason I decided not to run it this year. Although there is plans to change the course next year. As the other poster said the support and atmosphere around the derry marathon is excellent. |

That is the risk with those late May early June marathons, it can get hot.
It was sweltering in Cork for the marathon two years ago. |
