Lidl were selling a lot of post-expiry christmas pudding today and the fire is burning turf merrily.

This feels more like Christmas than the real thing.

My pet theory: the Scientists are wrong! What has happened is over a period of centuries we've lost or gained a little time each year. Slowly our summers have become autumny, our winters springy. Later the powers that be came up with 'climate change' to cover over the real conspiracy.

This right here is our real winter.
