I tried a few months ago _adylace..... If that's what you want then go for it as others might not want that . I'm guessing it won't matter how much longer it is over 8inch .
You can only fit what you can take  . As for girth that's a whole other topic

My last meet was about that, maybe a little longer. Was great at the start, that first stroke...holy fuck but then we switched to doggy & that hurt after a while. Like dented cervix sore, but if the opportunity presented itself, I'd definitely meet him again.

8.5inches is a decent length. But if it’s too thin, you may not enjoy it as much. Again too thick could be painful.
Generally girth seems more inportant to most women I’ve spoken / been with.
