Hi All
We are considering hosting a party in March in West Cork. It will be on a Saturday night and accommadation will be provided for those that require it. We were wondering how to structure the entry fee to offset the costs.
As an example
Couples staying overnight €75
Couples party only €35
Singles staying over €60
Singles party only €25
Can we have your thoughts.

"We are renting a venue which will cost €1000 for the night. We expect to lose money but as little as possible "
Personally all costs should be covered and you guys are doing all the hard work and should not be out of pocket.... |

I don't think anyone would have a problem if you got your expenses covered. So... the cost is borne by invitees. You are doing all the work...and an extra few quid per invitee would mean you dont pay anything. Just a thought. |

I’m a little shocked you would charge for people to stay in your own home as well - and so much for single people to stay |

People have to understand they have to cover the costs to rent out a place.i no what it’s kike to try have a party like this it’s takes up time and you’ll always nearly end up short yourself. Give them a break. If ye don’t want to pay it don’t go to the party. Best of luck again with it. |

Looking st this post and the prices of places I have an offer for you all. I own a 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom 8 double beded house in Cobh. It’s a Guesthouse myself and my brother operate through Airbnb. Plenty of beds and plenty of space, very well decorated, 3 minute walk into all bars & restaurants. We sell it for €299 per night. We would be happy to let it out to groups on here for parties like this. Very reasonably priced for the amount of space & people it can sleep conspired to the options you are looking at. During the summer months our rate goes up to €360 per night. You’d have this covered in no time with a hand full of attendees. |

"Hi guys
Just to be clear. We are looking at a place that
1. Can accomdate parties
2. Can hold between up to 50 people
3. Can sleep 20 or more
4. Has plenty of parking
That's why it's €1000

Sounds like a good night and not too expensive.
Though the offer of the 7 bedroom guest house sounds the ticket for alot less money.
We would be interested in going |
