Was out last night with a few friends and these three gorgeous amerian women came over and started talking to us.
After about 10 minutes I hit a wall and just couldnt keep up a conversation. I realised that holy hell my small talk is no more. I just can't do it anymore. Like drawing a complete blank.
This happen to anyone else? Anyone have good tips on how to improve small talk, or in my case just talk |

Certainly up to both parties to keep up conversation so no need to put so much pressure on yourself.
And when you click, you bounce off each other naturally.
"So tell me about yourself...." and general interest in their life works. Get them chatting about themselves and that'll provide further questions. Appeal to their inner narcissist |

I've never liked the so tell me about yourself line. I feel like it's kind of lazy. Kinda like saying, yes I want to talk with you but I prefer if you do all the work, hahaha! I tend to go with what is in the general environment. If you were in a pub with the American girls and let's just say they were drinking Guinness. I'd say, now would you typically drink Guinness back in the States? No, what do you normally drink? Maybe I'll try that next! Are you an American football fan? Did you watch the Superbowl? Everyone in Ireland is Rugby mad right now! Keep it light and fun and friendly. That's why it's called small talk And...maybe they were just lame ducks with nothing to say for themselves and that's why the conversation didn't flow. |

Think it has happened to every man at some stage
I usually find out what someone is passionate about and just let them talk as most people just love to talk about what they love the most ...
Also when they talk, they'll often talk about other things like places visited, hobbies, work, music, pets, favourite films, drink, food, etc and that's a hook usually to change topic and talk about lots of different things versus being stuck on just one topic...
Am sure next time it happens you'll be well able to entertain all three women playa
Best of luck with it
