As we all have very busy and different lives away from Fab sometimes even though two people really fancy the arse off each other it's just really difficult to meet up. So you wait 
And wait.
Is there someone you have connected with really well but for whatever reason, be it distance or schedules, have been waiting a long time to meet? Or had it happened to you in the past? How long have you been waiting to meet each other? |

I am still waiting to meet one of the very first guys that started chatting to me when I joined Fab. There are many reasons why it hasn't worked out, both on his end and mine. We are great friends now though! We talk/Skype nearly everyday and get on so well. It's not for the lack of desire I tell ya!!! |

Longest I've waited to meet someone? Probably about 2 years. Was it worth it? Hell yes! But then I'm a fussy mare... I only meet someone who really ticks all the boxes, and when you know the connection is right, time and distance are irrelevant  |

I agree. And I very much like a connection and chemistry. So the longer you wait the stronger those things are, and it all contributes to an amazing experience. |

I waited 6 months to meet someone and when we met it was lovely. But it'll likely be another 6 months before we meet again.
A very lovely man waited hours and hours for me one night, I was severely delayed and he was very patient. |

By 'near', I'm talking anywhere within a few hour's travel (admittedly for a certain amount comic effect). But more seriously, I have a job that does not involve 9-5 hours and various other commitments that often take up my weekends. Long-distance relationships just don't work for me for those reasons. |

I have made a few lady friends on here but never got to meet them . I would luv to meet them. There is one lady but she is to far away . There is 2 ladies here in Dublin I would luv to meet and another in the Midlands . I will meet when we meet end of story . |

Sometimes those ones are very special because of the wait, anticipation and friendships that's often created over that time. They can stand out more because of that. |
