Ach the site's full of assholes. You gotta take the rough with the smooth.
We advertised for a social meet yesterday and a guy contacted us asking if we'd like to meet for coffee and suggested an area we could meet him in.
We said sure no problem, asked where suits and specified it would be just for coffee (as stated in the ad) and asked which coffee shops were in the suggested area.
He said there was a Costa then asked who was coming, was it the Mrs or the Mr and the Mrs then asked us if there would be no play at all.
We said we always do a social first before arranging any play meet. He didn't respond to our last message.
By the time we reached turn off point on road to either head to suggested area or go on home we still hadn't heard back from him so just came on home.
I asked him why bother to message someone first in response to their ad for a SOCIAL coffee meet suggesting a coffee when he was expecting more. Told him if he'd changed his mind because he wouldn't be getting more than coffee then he had the right to do so but it would have been common courtesy to say instead of just ignoring our last message and leaving us wondering if he was for meeting us or not.
He said he doesn't do just socials.
Suggested to him then that he shouldn't respond to people's ads for socials suggesting coffee.
Yep, there are so so many assholes on this site but as already said, just gotta take the rough with the smooth. We've met some great people on here too though which makes tolerating the assholes worth it. |
