Over the past few weeks a number of beautiful women I've been speaking to have been subject to male abuse...more from people they know.
As a male this is utterly unacceptable under any circumstances. If being on this raises issues of jealousy...leave..
As adults we are here to enjoy ourselves...not inflict ourselves on others. Making another life a misery is as low as you can go..worse than physical abuse. So.. .as a man I woukd suggest any other make that knows of any emotional or psychological abuse....report it. Cheers. |

"I totally agree but I would add that abuse is unacceptable regardless of gender, victim or perpetrators"
This is true. . It's automatically assumed the female will always be the victim, it's not always the case. |

Very true Jay!"
to post a very specific topic and aim it at one side only comes across as very attention seeking in the "oh look at me ladies I am here for you" kind of way, this post would serve people better were it not gender specific, I know many guys who have been the subject of abuse by their partners and other females and I know many females in the exact same scenario,I would not treat any of them better or worse due to their gender. Abuse is bad no matter who the victim is. Any galahads wanting to PM me as per usual feel free, it's all gravy. |

Ok, just hold your horses here a minute.
This, regardless of it being Fab, is the internet.
Don't try and colour it as anything else.
What I mean is, practically anyone with a web connection and more than two braincells can get on here.
As a result, it's no better than Facebook/Snapchat/Tinder/any other forums.
You have to understand that as a result, any amoeba can cause a problem. Might be a good one, sometimes a bad one.
Yes some of the bad ones get through the shields.
What do you do in everyday life?
You tell them their behaviour is unacceptable, you walk away, or, if you are in a scenario where you can, you report them to authorities.
Why should Fab be any different?
Abuse will always happen, because there will always be small minded people. As responsible, free thinking, sensible adults, it is our responsibility to call them out publicly, report them to admin and move to a higher plane.

I've tended to notice that usually the males that are abusive on here are also not very smart.
When we get abusive males messaging our couple profile we will usually cut them down to size with some sharp wit and then we block as it pisses them off even more when they don't get the chance to retaliate.
With bullies it's all about control.
Best to just block em and forget about em but never ever react in a way that they can see you are bothered otherwise it only feeds and encourages them. |

It's seen as white knighting here as u aimed it specifically at males when in fact abuse knows no gender and can come from the most unremarkable person against anyone not just females.
Hence attention seeking on ur behalf. The intention may have being there but the delivery was tainted |

Absolutely...men are subject to abuse as well. But my understanding is women are subject to more prolonged bouts of it and may spill into the real world. The examples I know of are men abusing women but I accept it works in reverse too. Either way...its not on. |

I get a little bit embarrassed every time I read a post like the OP's. It's as if some men think us women can't stand up for ourselves and are totally helpless in the face of a keyboard warrior/abusive mailer on here.
Abuse of anyone, by anyone else, regardless of gender, shouldn't be tolerated, but I don't think posts like the opening one serve any purpose at all. An ass will always be an ass, a blanketing 'cover all' post neither stops that, nor does it make anyone who's been abusive think twice about their behaviour.
Just to make it clear, I'm referring to online abuse. |

It's better if it's assumed that the person receiving it is dealing with it in his or her own way, and that he or she doesn't need someone else to fight a battle/create a post for them. Most of us are capable of sorting these things out for ourselves and I really do believe that giving air time to abusive people just feeds their sense of power and entitlement. |

you 100% were attention seeking, had you not just blamed males for this then you may have had a valid point but the mere fact that you ignored the abuse from females both physical and verbal, points to the fact that you were looking for the women on here to see you as a hero willing to ride to their rescue. Next time when playing a blame game perhaps take a more balanced viewpoint? Abuse is completely wrong regardless of the gender of the perpetrator. |

Report them and block them...the more they are known as being bullies..the less attention they'll get. |

It takes a hard line from the people who run the site. |

Abuse on the internet happens all over to any gender religion sexuality anything. Long gone are the day's when you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all .
9 times out if 10 they abusing someone they don't even know and on this site it's basing it on a profile. Wouldn't the world be a nicer place if such things didn't happen.. To the receiver of such abused delete it, to the sender did it really make you feel better to abuse someone cause if it did the problem isn't the receiver it's you . |

I worry that commenting here is a very primitive mode of virtue signalling, itself a very low form of self expression.
Of fucking course no person here who is serious about the game would give a member of our community abuse.
The guys or girls or couples who give and feed abuse are only a reflection on their own small minded attempts to draw power from selection or attention.
The people who give abuse to our members or are not even courteous or polite to our limited number in Ireland are not ever part of our lifestyle. It takes balls to be here. Give abuse to ours and you don’t effect us, you just bring us together.
Let it be known, abuse is only a failure’s way to infamy |

The abuse that goes on here is ridiculous. For an adult site there are a lot of childish attitudes. The OP was right to start a thread on it. Maybe the person who was at the receiving end of the abuse didn't want to make themselves known. Not saying anything is worse. When i joined here first I got some dodgy messages that scared the bejaysus out of me but I've learned and now I laugh at how pathetic they are. It's the same handful of people that jump on these threads all the time. Jeeze they must cream their pants when they see a thread like this. |

"The site owners to a degree are responsible, but it's the adults playing childish games is the real problem." the unlos profiles that leave after abusing or posting shite on the forums if only the owners could see the level of activity that went on before they deleted and if it was inappropriate behaving going on they can't rejoin..
