I have just come back from a wedding, im sure it was lovely.. I don't often drink.. but I was supplied with copious amounts of bourbon... I notice im a bit more argumentative than usual, in what way does alcohol impact your personality? |

Jack Daniels in particular has the effect of making me argumentative to the point of ready to start a fight with my fingernails if they annoy me
That's why I don't drink it when out anymore. Weirdly, I can drink it at home and nowhere near the same effect. Having said that, I drink whiskey neat and slowly, whereas out its with diet Coke and probably faster.

I just go all sloppy and have a fit of giggles. I don't get argumentive or start fighting . But I stopped drinking to much . I rather go and have a few pints of Guinness and just really enjoy myself . Nothing worse than having a hangover from he'll . |

Quite the opposite to yours!I get fairly loved up and tell friends and family i love them!
Id never touch any form of whiskey while socialising or at home anyway. Its known as a mad mans drink and can turn the most pleasant of people into absolute nutters.
Having said that, if theres underlying feelings of anger/frustration while sober, the chances of those feelings surfacing increase, as your ability to control them decreases.
Something is obviously bothering you if youre reacting like this with alcohol taken. Maybe source the problem and you might find the solution.

I get a little bit louder but nothing more exciting than that. I have always held the view for myself that I will not do anything d*unk that I wouldn't do sober. I rarely drink enough to get d*unk anyway, last time was almost a year ago, the time before that was several years before. |

I get lovey dovey and very talkative, like people tell me I'll talk to anyone that passes about anything and I'm telling everyone they're amazing etc... I don't drink very often though. Don't really like it. |

I'd talk the hind legs off a animal shelter of donkeys and dance like a loon with a big silly head on me when I'm on jack daniels and coca cola
The next day in the afternoon I start feeling sad when the hangover sets in (weird I know ...)
...but really I don't drink that often ... |

I genuinely never knew there was a name for it but I start worrying about silly random stuff the next day only after a night of J.D... |

Alcohol is a depressant and most people feel a bit down for a day or 2 after drinking. Some just notice it more than others.

I’m the same as many above have said when it comes to whiskey - I’m argumentative and a twat when d*unk on it. The opposite of the happy d*unk I normally am. Therefore I have sworn off whiskey - last one I had was about 5 years ago |

Is it just whiskey that sends people off their heads? Cider is known to do that too, ive seen someone laugh and joke one minute and up end a table in a crowded pub in a heartbeat I think its the persons mood at that given time before any drink is taken that takes effect the most, where it rears its ugly head when theyre d*unk. |

For me, I don't drink much and not very often so when I hit the whiskey, whiskey seems to hit me back harder! You're right though |
