Hi folks,Is there anyone travelling this road tonight can tell me what weather is like on it..Im planning on driving it between midnight and 3am...Any info would be much appreciated.Tks.

Only grace is that it is a road that will always be gritted. Hope it not as bad as I think it might be. Keep us posted so I know what to expect in morning

I imagine if he heading to Derry the alternative's are going to be smaller roads with less chance of gritting

The only alternative is worse I'm afraid..the snow ploughs will be busy..I'll keep you informed..thanks.

Its pretty rough and the alternatives aren't great to be honest. Coast road all the way around depending where you come from but that's a mad diversion. There is updated info on Trafficwatch ni

Well made it to Derry ..All clear until I got to the Ponderosa,from there through Dungiven got really nasty,no problem for the scania,but it'll be different in the car.Anyone travelling later please take care.Thankyou for replies,much appreciated..j..
