Why do some people request payment for meet

This is the second time I have come across someone on fab who asks for payment before meeting. I think it’s inappropriate and unbecoming of this site.
Please I wish to know if anyone else has experienced this. I do not wish to name and shame on this forum.

I arranged to meet this lady and only when we were getting down to business she asked for money . I said you never asked for money cos of you had I would have said no . Just move on .its not the first time and won't be the last time either . |

It annoys me when that happens, but I just block them.
I don't see the point in reporting them though because personally I don't think they're doing any harm. |

Also, "Safe from those reprobates"?? What the feck?? Really? I'd expect a more liberal attitude to sex work on this site, but just goes to show people will always surprise you

She requested I pay her €100.. says it’s to help her with rent. Because she had agreed to meet at her house. But I gladly declined because I don’t think it’s right to do that here. There are other sites for that.

I had someone contact me looking for a loan of money to help with her rent and she said she would pay me back, requested my bank details so she could pay me back.........
That was the end of that conversation! |

There are lots of different ways people receive recompense for having sex.Some are very upfront and ask for payment...but there's more than one way to skin a cat and receiving payment in one form or another is extremely common on here |

Actually I think they have the potential to do a lot of harm. A lot of prostitutes work on the edges of society. Don't won't to paint every sex worker as addicts, but some are. That can bring lots of trouble. I. Ways you don't realise till it's to late.

I can see the point of view that it's not appropriate for this site, and as someone else said there are other sites to sell sex on so no need to do it here, gets in the way of real swingers/whatever you call us.
But I still wouldn't feel comfortable reporting someone. |
