Was on a few years ago and if i messaged people usually the adage would be opened and responded too or just deleted. No bother either way. Now it seems they dont even get opened at all.
Are women and couples getting more messages than usual?
Seen some statuses off new members with 200+ messages in the first day. Has the publicity of recent years been good or bad for fab?

"It just takes some people longer than others to work out what message filters are for "
True! I went from " hey lad I'm straight but I'll suck your cock" to "*white noise* so thank fuck for filters |

I think most of the tabloid gossip about the wild "hedonostic lifestyle" of Irish Swinging has actually driven more people here out of curiosity and sexual intrigue... so maybe all publicity is good publicity (!)
Some Fab women have told me that reading the title of the message and accompanying profile pic are usually the decider as to whether to read or leave unread so worth noting by any single guy here |

For us, it's usually the profile text (or lack thereof) |

Good advice. Although I have sent messages here that get a response "that's a copy and paste, no way you just wrote that" even though I try to make messages as unique to someone's profile. Sure can't win them all over |

Same, profile is the first major hurdle.

What's wrong with cut and paste stating who you are, a bit about you and what you're after?
As long as you modify slightly to show you've read their profile and that you can articulate an engaging message

It's actually horrible to send a message and it doesn't even get opened, it's happening all the time. I'd rather the girl open it and tell me fuck off haha. I'm there checking unopened texts for two to three days and then I just delete them myself from being sick of looking at them |

On our profile asks guys not to mail us. Have to be honest, very few do and most respect our request. The ones that do insist on mailing us are immediately blocked as we feel they are the pushy types we do not wish to meet. And for what its worth we do play with single guy's but of our own choosing when those moments arise. Our advice to single guys, definetly view profiles but respect people's requests and things will happen when you least expect it.

850 messages in the first day when I rejoined. All crap. Yes the numbers may have gone up but the quality is dire. |
