They won’t. They have just been so unfortunate to have their best ever squad coincide with the greatest ever GAA setup there has ever been - the blue machine of Dublin. Light years ahead of anything else out there in every facet of the game..

2016 mayo fucked it away. that was the year they had Dublin.

I'd consider them to have been even closer in 2017. Had cool heads prevailed when Dublin were about to go a man down they were home and hosed.

Agree 2017 was mayo best chance they had dublin rattled and with the extra man would have punished dublin. But for a moment of madness looking forward to the super 8 should be a great season

Let’s put it in context: Mayo have been ahead of everyone else for the past 3 years and Dublin have been streets ahead of them. It doesn’t matter that That wasn’t translated on the scoreboard; at no time during their encounters did Dublin look vulnerable. Their ability to collectively step up at any sign of danger is not something I’ve seen in many years of watching or playing football. Their ability to control games as a collective of 15 on the field is nearly telepathic. B*****ds..!!! Lol

luck gets you over the line also. Dublin are a fabulous team but look jumped up in 2016
