I'd consider them to have been even closer in 2017. Had cool heads prevailed when Dublin were about to go a man down they were home and hosed. |

Let’s put it in context: Mayo have been ahead of everyone else for the past 3 years and Dublin have been streets ahead of them. It doesn’t matter that That wasn’t translated on the scoreboard; at no time during their encounters did Dublin look vulnerable. Their ability to collectively step up at any sign of danger is not something I’ve seen in many years of watching or playing football. Their ability to control games as a collective of 15 on the field is nearly telepathic. B*****ds..!!! Lol |
