Well, not really happy but...
Today the 8th January has been branded "Divorce Day" because the amount of married couples seeking a divorce usually hits it's peak on this very date
So, if you were given a massive budget and made "Minister For Healthy Marriages" ...
What would you do to curtail the high level of divorce in this country??

1. As Minister, I'd first make it mandatory for women before marriage to enrol in a lap dancing or burlesque course. That in itself would cut the divorce rate by 70% (...over night too )
2. Any man considering marriage would be put on a "Hubby Bootcamp Course" to learn how to navigate those tricky issues like
-putting the toilet seat down (should be up, I know lads )
- handling those tough questions like"Does my bum look big in this?" or "Which dress looks better on me?"
- Learning a new language called "Women talk" and deciphering the real meaning behind a woman asking you "Are you hungry?" "I'm fine" or "I don't want to talk about it" (...she does)
3. Organising "Special parties" where married couples talk, share and "swap" their knowledge and sex-pertise with one another
4. Promoting "Sex Guidance Counsellors" or as we call them here on Fab... "Cuckolds" to demonstrate new exciting positions while hubby sits by the bed with pen & pad in one hand or a video camera to study technique later on for research

This lifeterm contact is bullshit, a mortgage contract is enough pressure to for any individual. Having said that, I do like the idea of marriage, so im asking the minister to introduce a shorter term contract, say 5 years and at the end of that period, to either renew the contract or take the opt out option.. |

Do you mean instead of a "fixed" arrangement you can then opt for an "Interest only" where you keep it at a strictly fuck buddy level for the next 5 years? |

Simple:
1) Sack myself as there is no such thing as a healthy marriage and therefore no need for an obsolete post
2) As my last act in office, reallocate most of the budget to the Education department for a massive programme of anti-marriage/living together/long term relationship educational awareness in schools from primary level
3) Give the remaining budget to universities to capture all males and females who claim to be happily married and carry out extensive research into why they feel the need to lie so publicly and so convincingly. |

Although the idea of celebrating a divorce is oddly more comforting that celebrating a wedding |
