Christmas weight gain.

So just wondering if anyone else put on a wee bit of weight over the last couple of weeks? I put on a wonderful 2.5kg. God bless all the chocolate, crisps and wine that sacrafised themselves for my pleasure.

Back at work tomorrow. Been of since the 21. Not looking forward to the alarm going off at 05.55 for the gym. Needs to be done I definitely over indulged! Too scared to get on the scales though!

I also lost weight in fact 9lb but had been sick so reckon that had something to do with it. Still not in much form for eating...but heck I needed to loss a little, so happy days

Not vhf it's done right ... I'll run some days and walk others. I'm mixing it with core classes. I've good runners, I know how to train properly .. foam roll, icebaths, stretching and hydration. I'm enjoying been back at it

Didnt over indulge much but not worried signed up.for a powerlifting comp.this year so back training next week. While i concentrate om upping the weight on the bars the weight on my body will look after itself

I've just run and trained for a marathon, I love hot yoga as well but I'm seeking a suppose the same thrill that crossing the marathon finishing line gave me.

Good for you. I might be at that same competition if it's the one that's in your neck of the woods. Gonna give it a whirl and see how it goes.

Deadlifting a monster weight that you never believed possible is a pretty big buzz

Sally, if I recall you’re in Meath, there’s no powerlifting gyms in Meath at the moment...you’d have to venture to Drogheda.. pm me if you like.

Might see some of you powerlifters at the first single lift comp of the yr in Limerick??

Never use scales except for weighing baggage. I know I've put a little bit on in the past couple of years but hopefully turn any excess into more dense tissue with training for this year's Hell and Back. Anyone else here doing it?
