It would be refreshing to see Fake Irish McGregor getting his irritating classless gutter-mouthed ass handed to him.

And did I mention classless...??

Love to see Khabib maul him but fear Conors mental game is too strong and he could have Khabib entering into a situation he just isn't used to nor comfortable with.

Wether it will ever happen is another story but seemingly Conor has come out saying he'd sleep Khabib and he's happy to take the fight if the ufc "beg him"

Yeah, but what, if anything, that McGregor claims is actually real..? It looks like he’s bored with the remaining UFC fighter stable as there’s no one consistently in his class and no “superstar” / notorious fighter has yet to emerge from his shadow to interest him...

Maybe Conor has grown too big for his boots and has become too much of an attention seeker?

Amazing how a bit of fame and money can change a person.

Then again 100 million for 30 minutes work would probably change us all.

I never really liked Conor, I am more of a GSP fan.

Saying that, after Conors recent activities I would encourage people to support Katie Taylor instead of him. It's one thing saying "it's just talk", but it's obviously not, he acts like a toe rag.

I'm a huge ufc fan but will not watch another one of his fights. Katie all the way for me.

He's a smart man.

He earned everything he has from hard work.

A lot of the publicity he does on instagram and stuff gains him more attention and than in fact earns money in the long run.

Confidence kills others that's when they hate.

But this fight would be one of the best yet. If it happens

I'm not sure if it will happen, he has a lot in the bank now and he could take a much easier fight and still make the same money.

However I would like to see it, Its an interesting fight.

He'll never even fight Ferguson, let alone Nurmagomedov. Be too damaging to his image and ego. It'll be even more embarrassing getting dominated by ground and pound, than when he got chocked out by Diaz. Least then, he could tap quickly, and have his excuses ready (short notice, not used to the weight). He'll give up the belt, saying LWs aren't reliable, or they don't sell, then angle for a fight with GSP. When GSP wrestle fucks him: "I got beat by the GOAT, I changed the game, and made a hell of a lot of money" etc. Can't wait til he fucks off, and takes his idiot fans, with him.

I don't care who he fights as long as they destroy him lol How he has fans at all amazes me. I don't even know how his misses is still with him after the amount of different rumors about him cheating. Well aware they often hold no truth to them but there's just far too many stories about his behaviour when partying that i personally would believe some of them.

I hear he's currently begging for a rematch with Floyd lol

There's all sorts of rumours out there at the moment. I tend to listen closely to what Dana says and try to keep an eye on Conor to see what weight he's walking around at. Couple of points.

1. Dana said it's very difficult to get up and get punched in the face everyday when you have €100million plus in the bank. Money changes everything.

2. Dana also said that Conor may never fight in the Octagon again. He vacated at 145lb,155 is interim so Tony would be the logical step if logic played any part anymore which it doesn't. Rankings are out the window now and everyone wants the "red pantie" fight.

3. Bear in mind Conor has never, I repeat never defend his belts.

4. There's talk of Mayweather gracing the Octagon??

5. Conor told Dana that he wants to fight Kahbib in Russia.

6. Kahbib will beat the fuck out of him and aim to hurt him. He has the grappling to easily and quickly break a bone before being stopped by the ref.

7. Finally, I think the most likely next fight will be Conor v Diaz III

Footnote for all you die hards. "THIS IS NUMBER 1 BULLSHIT" lol

Please discuss.

I don't think we'll see McGregor/Diaz III, for a long time, if ever? UFC aren't gonna want to pay Diaz, specially since he, like Nick, have priced themselves out of fights, due to their delusions regarding their worth or drawing power, without a big name, opposite (I think they pull 500-600k viewers, at best).

Casuals attention spans are short, so Diaz, like McGreor's relevance as a fighter, is waning, by the day, anyway. Only way McGregor is staying relevant, is by tweeting about Nurmagomedov. Just wants to keep the fame, without having to do what got him it.

White said the other day, that UFC will move on with or without McGregor. I'd say they'll give him until Feb/March, then strip him for Ferguson/Nurmagomedov in April.

Much cheaper for UFC to focus on other potential stars and markets, anyway. Finally looking at doing Hawaii with Holloway, and like with Khabib and Russia, they will be praying that Ngannou sparks Miocic, so they can have an african star to push to grab that region.

Dude knows his stuff! Some excellent points mate. They have hung their hat on individual stars for too long and one at a time only to get burned, Rousey, Lesnar, Jon Jones (although it's not the last we've seen of him I hope) and now it's Mcgregor but I think they've already learned the lesson hence GSP's return. Finally Heavyweight has a fight we can look forward to and their are other juicy match ups to be made. Darren Till v Mike Perry, now that would be a fight I'd definitely love to see, fucking savages, both of them. That Costa guy from Brazil looked lethal as well.

It's getting stacked.

Cheers! Aye,they definitely got burnt! I'm fucked off with Jones. Think he's out of the GOAT conversation, now. Only way I see him getting back into all-time contention, is if he comes back, and goes straight to heavyweight and does the same domination.

I like Perry, but I think he'll get merked. I think Till smashes everyone at welterweight (fucker is huge). Only thing i can see stopping him, is if Woodley someone lands the T-bomb? Other than that, I think he's champ by the end of the year.

I agree about Jones but I love the guy. You've seen his 2 Brothers? Those guys are much heavier than Jon and are elite in their sports so if he did go up I wonder would he be better or worse? I wonder what his WAW is and would he have to do much to get over that 225??

Dude, regards Rill, can't add anything to what you've said but before he gets that strap I hope it is from Woodley because that'd be a deadly fight too.

They're getting their shit together now regarding match ups and cards. That Detroit night was fucked stacked full and every fight was 'scream at the TV @ 4am' stuff.

No more circus sideshows like may weather, cm punk and fighters just strolling into a title shot. I think GSP was a unique case, he vacated champ and came back albeit at a different weight plus Bisping wanted the fight, he always does.

So I think they should try and go by the rankings and not the ppv's when matchmaking. It's almost like the fighters are calling each other out then the matchmakers set it up. Other than that, the future looks exciting.

by a lake with my rod out

In MacGregors defence every time he fights people write him off it been oh he can't beat the person because of their, wrestling, bjj, cardio etc etc but bar Diaz and mayweather he's beaten them all.

Aye, and his brothers popped for steroids, so it didn't really help his defense, when he was pleading his innocence. I think its probably about 230. Makes it even more mental that DC fought at HW. True. The start of last year, the events were grim.Pulled it around the second half of the year, whether it be fight nights or 216 onwards.

As an Irishman, since he joined the UFC, I've always wanted him to succeed. It's his ever growing ego, slapping officials, and the false narrative of his greatness, that he's peddling, and that his fans are lapping up, thats now intolerable.

He picks and chooses his fights.

To get the FW title shot, he beat Denis fuckin' Siver. Avoided Edgar, and full camp Mendes. Cerrone was offered before Diaz, and he turned it down. He's always had an excuse to avoid certain fights: "Frankie's too small", "I aleady beat Holloway". Was shouting after Mayweather, that he had his money made, it was about legacy. Next thing:

"Tony doesn't sell", "Khabib is unreliable", "Pay Me!". He's always had an excuse, should when he fails: "Never fought at 170, before". "Mayweather is the greatest boxer of his generation". If he fights Ferguson or Nurmagomdeov, and that's a big IF, the excuse will be:"I didn't bother training, 'cause I've $100m. Not hungry, anymore. If it was before Mayweather, I'd kill both of them".

Very well thought out post with reported info to back it up. Think this sums McG up really.

Could say the same thing about a lot of promising fighters who failed to live up to their potential for one reason or another wouldn't you think?

You definitely could. What's fucked up is, he's not like Jones, who's a sociopath, or a Tyson, who was from crime and poverty. He doesn't have an injury. Seems he's deliberately avoiding fighting, so he can't look bad and wreck the narrative he's built.

It's like he's trapped himself and I think that stunt in the 3Arena was hoping to get a ban while looking active and relevant???

Hmmm in my opinion what McGregor has done in 4 years is nothing short of spectacular, getting a lot of slate for being himself in my opinion something that's gotta be respected,he's not from Malahide or any upclass area, he's from a working class area sometimes that's the attitude it breeds plus it's what made him who he is, so what he if he is pals with some criminals/gangsters guys he grew up with ?? When you hit that sort of stature that quick in this age you're going to indulge in everything you've missed out on why not life's for living so after that haha I wouldn't begrudge the guy anything...There's nobody in either divisions that can come close to McGregor his style and technique is one of the best his tank ain't great but can only improve...a fight with kabib could be a very very boring fight a lot of takedowns, constant cage grinding unless kabib will stand which I doubt very highly,Not to take away from Kabib he's an animal you'd need a digger bucket to put him out but I just don't think he's able...
