Does Admin ever get back to you

Does anyone know if you make a complaint about someone does admin contact you and let you know they are dealing with it or investigating?

No they never get back to me! They only contact when they give forum ban or taking off status!

Its bit annoying cause I have reported some profile for giving fake verification..and some for fake photos.. profiles is back and looks nothing really done

Yeah, so I made a single profile (my husband knows about it) and some guy was messaging , I told him he wasn't what I was looking for , he began to threaten me that he knew where I loved and was watching me to be careful, then he said he was gonna kill himself , I told him he needed to seek professional help if he really felt suicidal and he said if he killed himself it would be my fault, I told him to politely fuck off and he dared me to block him because he wouldn't leave me alone, when I went to block him it wouldn't allow me and now my profile is invisible , I can sign in it it doesn't come up on a name search and anyone I was chatting to thinks it's deleted , I was thinking maybe he sent a virus or something because all my messages where deleted as soon as I hit the block button also... I'm kinda freaked out... Thank god I have my husband with me but I now understand why so many single females get overwhelmed here

That is scary sh1te... hope you're alright and that admin can get to the bottom of it if not you should contact the owner of the site..

It really is , I feel sick to my stomach over it.. I'll be fine in a couple of days tho, thanks so much

Im sure they're inundated with complaints but even a generic email to say it's being investigated and for the more serious complaints a little follow up... ESPECIALLY when you're paying to use the site !

Not being a dick here but it's all in the terms and conditions when u join I know where ur coming from though

As for the profile u had set up it maybe a case that the guy reported u and admin suspended the acc pending a review, usually this causes a profile to be hidden while admin look into it

I know it's in the terms and conditions but I was wondering for something as serious as someone threatening you that they're outside your home watching you and that they're going to do things to you and then to threaten to kill themselves , surely that warrants some sort of feedback or support

That's a police matter, not the responsibility of admin.

Happens more than you think ...site has no duty of care to any of us I wouldn't imagine

Yeah ill be ok, thanks so much, I was trying to be nice and reply to everyone and that's what it got me.... I had only signed up a few hours previous as a single

Administration done nothing !!

Even tho its upsetting for you, the chances are the numpty knows nothing about you...

The threats from trolls all go the same way

I know where you live

I know where you work

I know your family

I would say the idiot knows nothing

It should but who knows what admin consists of. For all we know it's the site owner and if they are busy things get backed up. Sorry you had to put up with that shit anyway. Look if your really worried goi g to the guards is always an option.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
