Lesson learned let down by a lot of people over the years. I now consider people acquaintances and have a smaal handful of very good friends. (One hand). |

As my sister always says, she can not speak to me for over 2mths but when she calls/meets me, I have no gripe about it and it feels like we spoke only yesterday. Same with my lifelong friends I lived with in London. We don't see each other but twice a year, if that but within minutes, it's like we're back in the same house, living together.
You don't have to be in constant contact but real friends will always be there when you need them, even though you may not have spoken to them in a while.
I speak to people on a daily basis that I wouldn't consider friends.
I do hope that you have some genuine friends in your life Geordie and others.

Oh yeah! Went out last night and that's it until Wednesday, if you mean pubs. Not wearing anything festive, as I've done the tree and after that, I couldn't be arsed 
You assemble a 12ft tree, fan it out, put lights on it and see how much you feel like dressing up just to go for a pint |

I got dressed up as Santa and went out in Dublin city last night and saying hoe hoe hoe to all the ladies  and they loved it lol .
Christmas the only time you can call a woman a how and it's all good hahaha .
