Do u mean implanon? If this is what you are refering to,i had it for the three years and never had any mishaps with it but saying that i have heard of them moving and having to be surgically removed. So i suppose for effectiveness against pregnancy they are great but if not fitted properly they are useless. |

The bar, the snip or the severing of tubes are the most effective they are all on par, baring any complication- moving of bar or hormonal imbalance side effects. It doesn’t hurt putting it in but can be tender for 3-4 days while it settles and there is bruising. It can be removed after 3 years and put in again straight away taking it out is a little more painful as the muscle/fat grows around it |

Implanon didnt suit me. I gained a serious amount of weight due to fluid retention. My weight ballooned in the space of 7/8 weeks. As soon as i had it removed,my weight returned to normal again. Its not suitable for everyone. |

It is a very effective means of contraception, however, it's not 100%.
Any adult having sex should be prepared to deal with the possible consequences IMO. |
