Personally - my own childhood Christmases were miserable and i dreaded their arrival. It's never left me even though i thankfully get to spend them on my own now.

I miss tracking santa on the laptop and trying to convince them it time for bed and sneaking about the house in the dark trying to get the presents from santa in the livingroom

Homemade decorated tree outside and inside is so lit up I will have planes trying to land here! Not a scrap of tinsel in sight
Brat pack Christmas playing all day as I cooked up a storm today.
Friends coming for dinner tomorrow, kids Christmas on Christmas eve and myself & Foo on Christmas day... three Christmas days of cooking, craic & great company...plus Bailey's coffee's while I cook, yum yum
