Called the morgue because bodys use to be left there from surrounding countryside to be collected by undertakers great pub was my local when i lived in ann devlin road |

the templeogue inn or commonly known as the morgue. it was a inn and bodies were left there to be picked up and brought to tamh
lacht (burial grounds)now known as tallaght during early settlement of dublin city during a epidemic of the plague.....thats the history lesson for the day!
