Verification Etiquette

Hi all just looking for you're thoughts on Verification of people. Now we all know this can be taken with a pinch of salt give the amount of "timewasters an fakes" along with men pretending to be women/couples on here.

I would expect a "verification"to validate a persons profile and show that they really do meet and to be genuine and upfront.Now I am not looking for a 1000 word essay but surely a bit more the "sound guy will meet again"but a bit more tought and info would be great. Also is it not polite to verify someone in return if they have verified you. Now while I am happy with my verifications and show them on my page and while I might not want to show the all at least if you received one you can the decide to show it in your page or just a summary of it at least this shows that you are active and up for meets. Rant over so thoughts please

You could suggest like on airbnb that you don't get the verification noted until both parties have verified.

The problem with that is I may have had a wonderful time but the other party might consider me a bore they couldn't stand. I know I have had meets where I couldn't wait to get out of the coffee shop. I even had one where I turned up at an apartment to find the woman blind d*unk along with several of her mates.

I got away by volunteering to go buy more drink and literally running back to my car.

I don't think that laydee would have welcomed my verification or me hers.

So perhaps leaving verifications at the discretion of those you meet works best No?

Write whatever makes you happy. Just remember, if you write a good one you will be sitting between.

Which makes you look like a bit of a cuckold dick for writing how lovely she was and how much you enjoyed her company.

Also know your veri will only be shown for a few days then hidden while other worse written ones are left up.

So if you are okay with that, then sure, go ahead and leave a great written veri.

It should be no more and no less.

We just don't understand why a lot in here feel the need to verify every person they talked to at a party either. With two or three verifs already we know you're real.

I love getting my veris but i don't feel the need to share them or my veris summary. I put very little heed on veris only to prove the person has met and is genuine

I will verify that people are as they say and make out to be on here.

I don’t necessarily need to be verified in return as I have been proven to be who I say I am.

They are good to see on men’s profiles and if I see a veri from a lady I’ve met then I’m more inclined to meet that person for a social.

If the person isn’t what they said they were or odd or scary then I wouldn’t leave a veri.

I like to write a veri and also receive a veri when I have a meet...its all part of the meet and finishes it of nicely...ive met at least 4 couples that havnt left verifications which kinda pissed me off because they were excellent meets and at least 5 women that won't leave a veri because they don't won't their fb to know they've met me or some other mad rationale which also kinda pisses me off...(And apparently I'm not allowed to say rant over)...so I won't.. .happy fabbing you filthy animals...x

I don't mind, if I get one I return it. Or if I give one and do not get one back it is not the end of world.

To me it is more important if you really enjoyed the meet to keep the banter up and try to get to meet again. I am quite fond of repeat meets.
