I love how great everything in Ikea looks until you take it home. Anyone else just got to the stage half way through building it that you have to take a break or you will end up chucking it I'm the bin lol

I enjoy it too but not that much that I'd volunteer to do others

Oh I really enjoy assembling it too. Very soothing...

I prefer to do it on my own than have a “helper”

I grew up with flat packs. Just spend the whole afternoon in the overcrowded ikea, not a pleasure. Anyhow four flat packs waiting for me to be assembled tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it.

They're grand but I do wish the instructions were a little more specific. So many times I've had to redo because I had a piece facing the wrong way/side!

Always been amazed by how small it packs down. Remember picking up a TV unit for a mate which covered his entire living room wall but whilst boxed, fitted in the boot of my Rover 200.

I always though there was always a job there or a business that you could ring to get someone to build it for you . They could call it flat pack paddy

It’s the satisfaction you get with a flat pack starting something that needs to be finished. Some love it, others hate it. It’s when you can’t find the instructions, which by the way drives you to distraction, you start to google it looking for some help.

That was my very first car and considering some of the pieces of crap most of my mates got after passing their tests, I think I did alright, lol.

I love assembling them!

The instructions never let you down

If you build it wrong you just haven’t read the instructions correctly

To be fair though, Ikea flat pack is a class apart from most other flat pack stuff. The instructions are reasonably well written and stuff goes together the way it's meant to.

Instructions? What do you need them for.

You're right. there's nothing worse than diagrams that were drawn in the dark and instructions that have been badly translated.

I got a chest of drawers in Woodies a while back. After following the instructions to the letter it made a beautiful wheelbarrow.

Swedish Erotica number 47 is my favourite movie!

Great plot!

Great acting!

First class cinematography, although I never quite got to the end of it.

It slides perfectly and looks great but it took me a couple of hours to screw 150 screws into 10 panels of wood. Tomorrow the curtains go up
