Anyone knows about what date it will be good to apply for tax back in return, and what percentage they take you out from 3200. Thanks in advanced

Depend on what your claiming. It works out roughly 20% of your medical expenses etc. I do it every year.

You can claim anytime from January 1st. However, it will be a few weeks before you will get a rebate as hundreds of thousands of people claim back early into the year and Revenue get swamped

Do it online and you will be waiting about a week. Much faster than other methods i have found.

You can’t claim until your employer files their P35 which is when you get your P60. Technically they have until mid February to do that so depends on payroll department.

over the hills and far away

Register for PAYE Anytime on Revenue site and you can file online. This is much faster than sending by post. You must have paid PAYE to claim Med expenses.

Spot on in my experience, unless you have your P60 you won't be able to make your claim whether it be online or by snail mail

Even when you apply online, they are still approved by a Revenue official so queues still happen. But yeah, online speeds things up no end.
