Apparently there was a high proportion of oriental people living in northwest London at one point and sociologists and town planners were trying to figure out why. Researchers were sent to Heathrow to study new arrivals but couldn't work out out. Eventually one of the researchers went outside for a smoke beside a taxi rank. There he noticed that all the orientals that came out would walk up to the taxi driver and say "Harrow"  |
