"A straw is a pipe
If you have a hole in your pipes you’ve got problems
If there was no hole in my kitchen tap there would be a bigger problem ? "
That’s a tap
That’s an outlet from a pipe
No problems

"Ye're all wrong. Look down a straw from the hole in the top...what do you see?...another hole. So its a hole within a hole."
The straw is a singular entity. If you superimpose one circular end on top of the other, its still only one hole |

And if you cover one end of the straw, does it now have just one hole...? |

Wherever you are inside the straw you are in a hole. Since there are an infinite number of discrete locations along the length of the straw, there are an infinite number of holes
What happens if you bend the straw and insert one end in d'other?? |

This holeiness thread is giving me a good oul chuckle!
A person cant climb inside a standard sized straw which makes your statement null and void
If you bend a straw and insert one inside the other, theres still only one hole. If you continued to insert straws into each other, to reach a mile long and so on, there'd still be only one hole.
Now im waiting for you to tell me to go and ask your hole! |
