Question. What to do if another single (guy) offers to share vids with other members in them to you?
I don't feel comfortable with it. What should I do? What would you do?
Told him I don't think its right.
Just curious if it's also something others do?
Yes I've taken pics. Yes I've taken vids. I've always asked if it's ok to use on my profile or to ever share.
Do you do the same?
Would you share vids and pics of you if you knew others might potentially share them with others?
Would make me think twice.
Not going to lynch the user. That's not the point. More looking to discuss the topic.
Without respect and trust a lot of this doesn't work.

Never done any vids with anyone, I have got pics with others and have their permission to use them.
Always make sure that faces ain't shown and make sure to get their permission for future use.
Sounds to me, that he is mistreating peoples trust by sending them on to others, especially if faces are showing. |

I would go mad if that happened to me. Unless we a established partner I would not do any videos don't fancy myself being unloaded on any site or shown around without me knowing. I thinks it wrong and have seen pictures on lads profile where the women is going down on lads and her face is clearly shown and they have the pics on public in profile. If the woman is ok with it so be it but half the time I don't think they know  |

Absolutely agree, consent is the primary issue and if you have an inkling that a person has not consented to having their videos/photos shared, I wouldn't go near those vids/photos at all. |

I wouldn't accept a video of other people without being involved in a chat with all of them. If you are unsure of consent in this case and know who the other member is, you should get in touch and let them know (if you haven't already).
It's illegal to share sexual photos/videos of people without their consent and if the intent is to cause distress (north of the border anyway - not sure of the law in the RoI). The difficulty is proving intent - I guess that would be clearer from the message attached to it. |

Not illegal in the republic yet, the strongest charge yet is harassment, which isn't a criminal offence only civil. Its on the way though. |

This was a cold call as such.
"Hey want to see and share pics and vids" (paraphrasing)
I actually pointed out that I thought it was illegal and at best unfair and immoral.
Maybe he and others will see this and think twice.
The fact that I couldn't give a toss (excuse the pun) what pics or vids he had is irrelevant. |

Without hijacking the thread (too much) - does this go on much? As a single guy on here I have never offered, or been offered, any pics or videos of other members. Maybe it will reassure people that it isn't commonplace. |

Agreed and me highlighting was to start discussion rather than create alarm. |

It's not on, you should contact the person who's videos are being shared and inform them what's going on.. Even in the twighlight world of Fab there has to be some semblence of trust and morality! |

To clarify. They were by no means suggesting who they had pics or vids of. More just let's swap what we both have. Describing what they had!
Not looking for a witch hunt as I don't see the value in that. Just highlighting and discussing.
