If any young lady would like a gent to invite her to the next Killing Kittens I would graciously extend a ticket and pleasurable company for the day. Have been hearing about it and sounds fabulous

Journalist was at the last one and made front page news of the sunday world (think ive the right rag)
Easily recognisable too and like all tapes/pictures, the unedited and non blurred ones always and up online somewhere.

So they’ve done their story and moved on.. nobody was recognisable and KK seem to have had the lawyers in.. the piece was ‘so there was a party’ and I wouldn’t have recognised by sister had she been in the pics as they were so heavily edited.
Papers expose fabs all the time, they could ‘expose’ the vanilla club anytime too.. fuck em and party on. |

Plenty of tickets sold and many returnees. Venues cost money - profit was about 10e a head last time - you don’t get Dublin mansions for cheap. So not overpriced at all, simply get what you pay for...
As to the newspapers.. we’ve more security booked and the lawyers were all over the rag that broke the law. We were happy to spend the money on behalf of all the scene and make sure that particular paper realised they broke all sorts of EU and Irish laws to illegally invade the privacy of consenting adults. We hope they stay away from us, you and all other Irish parties and events in future,

Interesting it's all the rags fault for breaching privacy etc etc. Don't see any sign of an abject apology on the front page of the Sunday worst so I'm guessing all that money spent on lawyers mightnt have been that effective.
Hopefully you have a few euro left over from lawyers costs to cover actual vetting of attendees so that you don't unintentionally invite a fucking (or should that be a non fucking ) JOURNALIST with a hidden CAMERA.

We have been to the last two, absolutely no problem going back, might have been different if we had been visible in the papers but thankfully we werent.
We cant make the next one as it clashes with something else but we will definitely be back in the new year.
Is it expensive?
Yes
But in life you get what you pay for, just make sure next time you have more bulmers  |

Can't make this one as it clashes with one of our Christmas work parties.
Hopefully we'll be free for the following party.

We were at the last party and were unfortunately in more than one photo. Thankfully no one noticed us but make no mistake if anyone thinks they could stop any reporter putting in a little ground work and attending any similar event you are kidding yourself.
Having spoken to our own solicitor and privitly with kk since we are more than satisfied with how kk dealt with it from a legal standpoint. For personal reasons we can't attend the next party but if we could we most certainly would.

We've been to pretty much all but one KK party in Ireland and each one has been better than the last. Love the people, the hosts, the organisation....the sex.
As for the journalist issue, I'm very happy with how KK dealt with it. KK is for us, onwards and upwards (and downwards and up and down and....) |

I disagree.
The house in south Dublin seaside town (not sure if we're allowed to name places) was way too cramped and the neighbours way too close. Plus it was just too far away from the city centre with taxis costing around 45euro, which adds another 90 euros to the night. I thought it was a pretty poor choice and the people at the event (both running the event as well as the guests) mentioned similar comments. |

Killing Kittens rent expensive venues (out of our league cost wise) and come over from London to run the night. Seems a bit fussy to be digging them out in public over the same issues every host faces. We’ve priced the venue they had in September in its insane cost wise - so fair play to them for taking the risk of filling it.
When you rent a private venue you arrive and have a short space to make it party-ready. You can’t really legislate for neighbours beyond sensible things like renting detached property. Was it detached in its own grounds?

It's on airbnb for 550 a night, or at least it was.
They've had much better venues and I'm sure they'll have even better venues in the future. I wish them the best of luck.
I'd merely advise them to stay closer to the city centre just to make it easier for those coming from the north side. |

Hi guys
Air BnB price is for one bedroom. The venue cost over 2k to rent exclusively for one night.
We’re in northside this month, just to make the southsiders pay taxi.
We appreciate everyone who travels to,our events especially those who come from abroad or travel from other parts of Ireland. We also encourage people to use the exclusive KIK group to share costs like transport or accommodation.
Venues vary in their suitability - very often you arrive and find a problem you have to fix or remedy as best you can. Julys venue was pretry good but slightly too small in the non-play area on such a record warm weekend. However most people seemed to have a lot of sweaty fun in the bedrooms which had plenty of space for all (btw - the playroom on the middle floor was rarely busy for those complaining that the upper floor was too busy and warm... people gravitate to the action so it’s little surprise those rooms become hot and sweaty). On the whole we wouldn’t use it again but we certainly hope it didn’t detract from anyone’s fun. It certainly was a stunning physical space with great bedrooms.
In all tho, it was the least great of our 2017 venues - sadly the spring one is now unavailable. We thought it was perfect. But these things are to a degree a lottery and we hope our guests appreciate we make the decisions based on the best information we have and our experience of seeking our suitable venues for 70-100 guests to party.
And we’re slways happy to share intel and info on venues with other hosts to help grow the very small party scene in Ireland. So feel free to suggest away!

Wouldn’t get an invite anyway as not deemed in right group but newspapers in attendance no thanks. Should be able to provide security and anonymity because of charges. No other profit making companies appear on late late show. |

As for KK, we're perfectly happy with the guests that do attend and, given the re-attendance rate, they seem to be happy too. We're also big fans of all the other parties and venues that exist in the Irish scene and we certainly wouldn't attack any of them or their door policies. |
