I know im in the minority with this, but has to be temple bar, even with their crazy prices, the memory will last longer than the bill.

Start off in the confession box. They have a singing barman! It's just off o Connell street. Decent trad at night in devitts on Camden street or the cobblestone in Smithfield. Or as previously mentioned any of the overpriced bars in temple bar will do the trick.
