Anyone know of a shop selling it.
In Northern Ireland.

Rotten stuff lol ..its a fortified wine..monks make it on lyndesfarne island of tge northumberland north coast...got a ftiend a bottle years back..its an equired taste for sure....buckfast would be a close enough id say..both are rotten lol good luck |

No idea where you could get mead OP, there used to be a great off licence up Stranmillis which had a great range of wines, might be worth a look |

In a few weeks you could make a small mead, won't be as tasty as a proper one but could suffice if you can't get your hands on ready made.
I've been making the stuff for quite a few years now, but I've never done a quick one. There are plenty of recipes out there if you look for a quick mead. Generally I'd be looking at a year absolute minimum, to make sure it's mellowed out enough to be deliciously drinkable, especially starting at this time of year. |
