Just got a message from a guy (had filters off) very polite, flattering (lol) and asking to meet.
Sent back a thanks but no thanks and wished him good luck in his search as i prefer innies rather than outies and shortly after i get a thanks for being civil!!!
Is the standard of message etiquette on here so poor that behaving as your mother taught you too is considered exceptional????

While we learned that we say no thanks in day to day life, on here it's slightly different, the fab rule is no reply equals no thanks. In other words no reply shouldn't be regarded as rude or no etiquette, it simply should be read as 'thanks, I'm not interested'.
But yes many understandably appreciate to get a reply. I got many of those thanking me for having the courtesy to reply even though most of the time it's just a 'no thanks' |

Must be the only straight priest in the country as he didn't believe me lol
Had some banter.... he eventually got the message and the world was right again

It was just the thought that this guy was expecting abuse or a deleted message that got me... has everyone joined the trolls in the gutter and that is almost the expected response on here now so a civil response is worthy of comment??
Jeez, i spend a long time just sending off jokes and hellos with folk who i see online just to be nice and have a laugh.. I don't expect anyone here to sleep with me just because they have a profile, messaging is to see if there is anything or even just have a chat and tease , if we all just spout abuse or delete then noone going to have any fun.... lol
Kinda goes against the idea of a swing site!!
Anyway.. enough of the lunchtime deep thought, back to the fun

thing with no reply is a woman might not reply today. could have a diff profile pic next week and you might mail again only realising afterwards it's the same woman but guess the difference? this time she replies. motto of the story? a no reply is not always a not interested |
