I've been realising recently that that on fab the general preference of women for single men would be usually be over 30. I still love the site and do get the occasional meet but I feel if I was only 5 years older I could be enjoying it even more! Lol
Why is this? I understand it may simply be because of looks but is there something about being in your 20s that gives off that "immature" feeling around people? |

I’m suppose it’s peope are comfortable with/find attractive really. Some just prefer not going to far out of there own age range. If they are older they may have grown up kids and not want to play with someone the same age.
What about those in the 25-35 age range are you finding they are looking for older too? |

Ahh the generosity of youth in wishing 5 year's away don't... your time will come when you wish for those back. Enjoy it as it is. You seem mature enough and for me it's proximity in age to my kids that would determine who I am not with in most cases. Age does not guarantee maturity...just read the forums

I indeed, with age comes maturity. wisdom, enlightenment I could go on and on, I think it brings with it genuine confidence and esteem, I hear ladies constantly telling me they love how confident I am. to not care what I look like, they tell me I act so young for my age, and that I am so mercifully free of the ravages of intelligence, some have even used the words cockalorum and lickspittle, so I must be doing something right.. good luck op in your quest.. |

I honestly had not even considered the fact that people would be put off by having meets with guys similar to their kids ages lol makes sense I guess. |

I definitely agree when it comes to maturity on this site as a whole lol
Honestly, I am quite happy to live out the five years with patience lol it's just my youthful testosterone mixed with a high sex drive that yearns for acceptance from select women/couples. I can't always get what I want I suppose!

I suppose there is a fear that younger guys/girls might be more emotionally flighty and could react in a disproportionate way if their feelings got hurt??
I ld be a little concerned about a young guy wanting to brag to his buddies about bedding an older woman.... I ld be concerned about his commitment to discretion. Young guys are known for their recklessness.
It's nice to be able to chat on the same level, in relation to the same pop culture that is relevant for my age group. It's also good if a guy really understands the type of life responsibilities you have at different ages. We juggle different responsibilities at different stages of life. |

I think you're answer is really well thought out. Younger people do tend to carry that immaturity with them when it comes to sex. Perhaps I'm even guilty?! |

You're dead right.
My kids are older than the OP and I know that when they were his age they had never even heard of the word discretion, let alone knew what it meant. |

You're right OP. Being under 30 does you no favours on here. I've had this profile about 2 years and been to a few parties with literally not a single meet other than those in all that time. I mean I know part of the problem may be that there aren't many pictures on my profile but, like many females/couples I've encountered on here that's a privacy concern and I will share them with people after chatting........well I seem to have gotten off topic. Ha ha. Back on point. Being young has its own set of problems but I'm sure being older is the same. Make the most of your own age groups advantages while you have them. Maybe this site will be better for both of us in a few years. If so, that'll be great. For now though, just be patient with this and make the most of your vanilla life  |
