I don't mean to be derogatory to anyone's threads
Do people actually trust these threads, of revealing your face to potentially 40 50 people plus?
Has anyone regretted participating in them.?
What is the benefit of exposing your face to people 99'9% of which you may never meet.. sorry for all the questions, I've no friends to discuss these matters with. |

"Nope ,which is why we don't participate in them "
We are the same, we are slow to give out face pic with people we are chatting with let alone on a thread. I do know of one incident of that kind of thread going wrong as in a person sent a face pic of themselves and a week later it was put up on the forums! Think safety...not everyone is who they say they are on the internet.

I've met two girls from face pic threads and plans to meet another two at least, it's the same as being selective who you send a message to anyway, I don't send my face pic to everyone who posts, just a select few as long as they are well verified and I get a feel for them from their forum posts/profiles. |

That is what surprises me more so, people post about demands/requests they receive for face pics in pm, but yet there is a fair uptake from people prepared to expose that side of themselves on a open forum. I'm not taking away from peoples right to make this choice, I'm just curious as to what people benefit from it. Particularly when it has so much potential to backfire. |

Ok, I didn't realise it could be used very selectively, I had envisioned everyone on the thread had permission to view all those taking part. |

No you pm your pic to whoever, I know some women don't return face pics so I don't understand why they say they are in. It's all about perception from what I see |

It's arguably safer than PMimg someone a face pic after a few back and forth messages because as well as checking their profile a quick green arrow check can give you a flavour of the person youre sending it to. |

I guess by saying you're in it doesn't necessarily mean that they reply or have to reply to any face pic they receive.
Anyhow that's one reason I'd never take part in such. |
