Meet and Greet Social Sunny South East - Friay 22n sept

We are a new couple on the scene in Waterford and would love to meet couples on our wave length, but only have limited time.
Could anyone give me pointers on how to set up a meet? or do I book a hotel events room or just suggest a pub and see if people turn up
what about knowing if they are swingers and interested? is there a code?

Quite honestly it will be tough for you to organise. You're pretty new here and people don't know you.
If you do go ahead, why not just try a pub meet meet. Don't spend out any money.
Undoubtedly you'll get a lot of men asking for invites - a lot of these won't turn up. Its well known that a lot of Grannys die, a lot of cars break down and a lot of kids get sick on social nights.
You need women and couples there - and that could be hard - as I said, they don't know you.
Why not try a social/ M&G first? Or contact some of the hosts on here for tips?

There's no need to jump right in from the off lol.
Why not just arrange a small drinks social at first? Keep it simple and work the dynamics that suit you...
We've organised meets from just 'anyone in the area for a drink on sat' to a bigger event like a soirée/social...

As others said start small.
Reserve an area in a bar ( birthday, work do etc)
Get the numbers for of cpls and women firstly then invite the guys other wise you'll have 100 guys and no cpls or women.
Use a spreadsheet to keep track of invites.
Don't tell anyone the exact location of the event if people want to know best place to book a room give them the general area.

Just meet 1 or 2 couples in a pub for a few drinks and then at a later date you can organise to have bedroom fun . Or else go to the vanilla club and meet other people or go to the cork Club. A lot of people always say they will turn up and don't. |

All information is greatly received and thank you.....as said A small meet is the way i was thinking too and yeah with other parties i organise only a 50 to 70% attendance is usual.soz have event mgt background haha....
Question in pub how do you know if swingers and also are interested without direct ask?

Would love to go to hike party but have commitments...always the way when you want to go somewhere like hike or redvelvet event im housebound with kids...thats why i said ill organise something for when im free last friday night for about a month but is my birthday at end of month so maybe able to escape  |

Well rant time...60 invites 50hours of time and not one definate...i dont understand..ive been polite said its no pressure no expectation social event just to meet. Total respect.....what happened? |

That's unfortunate, short notice maybe a factor, and then with some, maybe they just need to be bigger than their excuses. |

The amount of people that say there going and then no shows is unreal . You would be better off going to some one else's party and then when they get to know you . You might get people to meet you . |
