Every time we post on social media/forum, we may be revealing more about ourselves, than we realise. Trump being a prime example.

It's probably better to ask others what we reveal of ourselves in our posts. How we come across and how we think we come across could be two very different things. More even, as other people's opinions could vary too depending on their mood on any given day.. |

I take your point, similar to the adage, if you want to get to know me... personality does come through after being involved on the forums for a time, and maybe at times we inadvertently share things about ourselves, for example, I recently seen one of your posts, where you queried if you were coming across as being too serious,and went on to say your not like that in real life so to speak, what way are you..if you dont mind me asking  |

I think I said in that post that I probably come across very seriously, but I think I added that in person I'm giggly and jokey, and a little bit risquè as well. I'm a complicated and complex person in some ways but I'm also straightforward and upfront. I like to think that people know where they stand with me. |

Honesty is an excellent trait, without a doubt, but an opinion is not based on fact or knowledge for that matter, which can leave our opinions open to interpretation, so how we convey them, would be important I presume. |

i often try not to give too much info out although I'm sure some slips through the net....I learn more about myself than anybody else would...and its mostly that I talk a whole load of bollox, especially when I'm d*unk and its no wonder I don't really hang around with anybody in real life....saying that...if I did I'd probably talk less shite on here....add to that I can read back on what I was jibbering on about when I sober up. |
