Polly"
Thanks. Maybe I'm just been a bit silly. Didn't expect it to progress so quickly |

"Think from the start of the this thread, it looks like a "don't dye your hair" opinion. Some thinking to do now "
If your unhappy with it change it maybe get a tighter cut, works for most men when the dreaded grey appears but myself think it's cool |

Look, nobody is ever going to have 'the look' that every woman will melt over. So embrace it.
The amount of glances/flirting I get since I have started to go grey has definitely increased. |

Not a lot you can do when its largely down to genetics.
Vitamin b12 will slow the process down but eventually the grey will win.
So youve 2 options...dye it every few weeks which is added expense and maintenance or accept it..care for it and look after it.
Do your friends or family seem different to you because theyve grey hair? Probably not cos you'll still love them anyway. So dont think people will look at you differently cos youve a few silver strands.
Think Paul Hollywood and George Clooney.Theyre just yummm... Ill say no more |

I'll have to start putting up some pics of my hair seeing as grey is so popular here....mines been going grey for about fifteen years...it takes ages to go totally grey for most....looks brutal dyed...looks brutal shaved...tbh I preferred my hair when it was naturally dark but hey...it is what it is....I've seen worse. |

Started going grey in my early thirties too OP, and to be honest it was only then, and when I grew my beard a few years after when I started doing better with the ladies.
As others have said, embrace it. The salt and pepper look is in! |

Noticed a bit of an increase myself lately. I've always liked the "you don't look your age compliment. I think them compliments will now be over |

Right thanks everyone. I'm going to go with a light dye. See how that goes as the confidence is a little rocked with the grey progression. But thanks for the input |

I know this topic isn't "just for Men"
Grey hair is gorgeous on guy's. Us ladies...not so much. I started going grey in my late 20's but went fully grey after an operation in my early 30's. I love being adventurous with my colour now. Am currently fiery red. Accept it and make the most of it. It's a new part of you.

I wouldn't let it knock your confidence too much. It is what it is. I was bald by the time I was 30. Was probably due to a a combo of all the chemicals I put in my hair when younger between dyeing and mad punk spikes plus other whacky hairstyles. That plus stress. Now I just have to adopt the skin head look but on the plus side I don't need to bother much with style and maintenance, splash of water and I'm good to go. I believe in growing old gracefully. It's no big deal. Not every woman likes the bald look but there are plenty that do. Likewise not every women will like grey hair but judging by this thread there are plenty who do.
You just gotta look for the SILVER lining in every situation. Pun intended. Sorry, couldn't resist that one. |

sure it's worth trying... you can shave it off it looks shit and grow it back...I think its easy to spot a fella with dyed hair as it ain't the most natural looking...as much as the box would lead you to believe. |

I was a bit mad in my younger years but have matured since then. I think that was mainly due to becoming a parent. It mellowed me out quite a bit. Something has to wise me up eventually. Lol. |
