just got blocked cos we wouldnt

send face pics.... whats that about??

we told them it isnt safe to do so.

I always insist on a face pic, I've been sprung by someone before that turned out to be a friend of my sons!

This subject has been debated numerous occasions on this site and others, its a revolving topic.

And as Sand said, its an individual choice. My own rules of thumb are:

1. I never share a face picture until I'm confident enough to do so, having chatted and used other forms of contact outside of FAB.

2. Never share my number, pre-pay mobiles are so cheap now, purchase one and do as I have done and effectively use it as a Swing Phone.

3. Make sure your 100% that the feedback from both parties about a meet is mutual.

These are just my own thoughts.

As for being blocked, I wouldn't dwell on it, maybe you had a lucky escape?

This takes us back to what we always say.... Use web cams!!!

Each person on each end clicks their cam on, and right away you see who your talking to.

Modern technology. Amazin eh?

I sent a very polite message lately to a couple, from reading their profile brief I thought I thought I fitted thier requirements and matched all their criteria, rather than ignore or send a nice pfo reply I got blocked, its just bad manners and laziness and they are messers. Rant over !

I was blocked by the original posters of this thread (on their old profile), because I wouldn't meet up with them!!

Now they're here complaining about being blocked by someone else!!

Some people make you laugh!!

we will only block if others are being a prat but other than that we couldn't be brother to send a face pic as the minute we do that then no contact hehe anyways let the fun begin

Sounds familiar, i was meant to have a meet lately, spend alot of time ( 1 mont ) chatting, mailing + texting the lady involved who is verfified also ! A day prior to the so called arranged meet the lady has gone to ground and no reason replies etc, it only requires common courtesy. If a guy did this there would be ruptions ! You have to go thro' alot of messers to meet the real people which I know are there, have my doubts about verifiactions though, I have seen new members get verified within a day of joining , only possible if you have prior experience from another site.

hence why alot of members dont put alot of trust in veris anymore,,and some wont meet without them,,

we personally dont care about veris,,for us or from us,,,,

just enjoy your meets and move on if you dont wanna meet someone again,,

as for blocking,,we dont block anyone,,even if abusive,,report yes,,block no,,only if really abusive,,after a good few years here and other sites we have a thick skin,lol

anyway hope it doesnt ruin your experience of this site and for future meets

Is glad a shit load of ppl have us on block.... Means they cant see what your saying in chat and likewise, you also cant see what those lovely lovely people are saying in chat.

With a post like the above can you wonder why people have blocked you?

That's a very aggressive tone, one that deters others from even bothering to contact you.?

I see you have an * (asterisk) on your profile, does that mean your a Site Mod?

Either way there's no need to swear in the forum.
