As far as i know, theres 6 episodes in the final season 8, each is feature length of 90 minutes to 2 hours long so we re not really losing out
Winter has come to westeros so maybe they need blizzard conditions for production?
Either way our long night is gonna last a year or so.  |

Only 6 more episodes but reckon it is too much of a cash cow for there NOT to be (multiple ?) spin offs.
Not giving anything away here but the whole Sansa and Arya thing........ loved it!!!! |

They have several in development/pre-production but have yet to decide which they'll proceed with. IIRC, they said it would be a prequel but WOULDN'T be one on Robert's Rebellion, as we'll know everything about it by the time the series and books end. |
