My contract with three is nearly up, was thinking of switching to tesco mobile.
Anyone out there with them, whats the coverage like.
It is cheaper at 30 euros a month, compared to 45 with three.
Would like to hear pros and cons, please... |

Tesco mobile is grand.
Use my clubcard points get my credit for free each month.
5 euro of clubcard vouchers is boosted to 15 euro and that gives all calls texts to all other mobile networks and my data too.
Not too bad for a freebie. |

I have to say, that does sound like a bargain. I may investigate them further methinks. Thx for the detailed info |

Not a subject I expected to see on a Fab forum post.
That being said I am Meteor. They have random bad patches in town but usually works itself out quickly. |

Have been using Tesco mobile for over a year now and find it great. €15 a month top up gives you unlimited calls to other mobiles and landlines as well as 10 gig data and at the end of the month you still have your €15 credit to use. I use €10 of the credit to get a text bundle so still have €5 left over which I never use so it's building up |

"I'm with them and they are just OK. Someplaces not the best coverage . I only pay 15 a month so it does me . Vodafone is the best I heard . I'm not into getting bills . Tesco use 3 mobile anyway
"
Vodafone seem to be scabby with data on the cheaper options.
I mostly use fab and other thimgs through my phone, soneed a decent amount of data... |

I'm paying 40 per month for Vodafone. That gives me free VF to VF calls and texts, 100 any network calls, unlimited any network texts, 5Gb of Interwebs and Spotify premium. I've never had a coverage issue. You get what you pay for folks. |

"Is anyone on the Eir neteork.
If so, whats that like???"
I was with them for the last year or so, I'm with Tesco about 4 months. Found Eir really shit coverage.
Was on a special deal because house phone was with them. But they increased it twice throughout the year and then at the end of my contract wanted me to pay 55e a month to keep the same plan I was on.
They're great at doing deals for new customers but that's it |

Not sure what coverage O2 has down there but Giffgaff have by fatlr the most flexible and cost effective deals. Saved a monthly package when i moved from O2 to Giffgaff yet it's same network. You control your own package...can change it each month if you wish. There's a roll over of unused calls up to 3 months.you can auto renew or renew each month. Free calls and messages to other giffgaff users. Basically you control it and cancel any time. There's a reward system too.
worth looking it up |
