"Anyone been to Robbie Williams concert id say hes great to go see great entertainer "
Saw him in Lansdowne Road and Murrayfield around 2003/04. Very good shows.
Prodigy in Kings Hall Belfast and Blur in the Point Depot would be my favourite gigs |

Its close but I think AC/DC in Punches town. GNR in Slane this year was amazing, most emotional gig for me.
Eminem in Punchestown
Metallica in RDS
Black Sabbath in Belfast
Whitesnake/Def Leopard in 3 arena
Aerosmith this year in 3arena
All are great highlights too |

For me it would be Slane 2003. Lineup was Feeder (great band that I loved at the time), PJ Harvey, Queens of the Stone Age, The Foo Fighters and then the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. There is a DVD of the Chilli's performance in that show and I highly recommend it to everyone.
One moment that blew my mind if you check it out on YouTube was their performance of Throw Away Your Television. The version they do on their album is just ok but in the concert John Frusciante did this guitar outro that completely blew my mind.
Ever heard a guitar cry? Check it out on YouTube? Throw Away Your Television Slane 2003.
A close second would be the Rolling Stones in 2007. Was right at the front for that one and Mick Jagger could really dance and move for the age of him.
When they did You Can't Always Get What You Want and there are 80,000 voices singing along and it comes right at you from behind it sends a shiver down your spine. Good memories. |

Cypress Hill, Mac Miller and Die Antwoord.
The first and third one were both during a festival, Rock en Seine, in 2012 for Cypress Hill, 2014/15 for Die Antwoord, one of the rare time i went in the pogo and jesus christ no regrets |

Oasis at Pairc Ui Chaoimh
August 1996 - Still have the ticket stub
Bootleg Beatles as support were great, but never understood why The Prodigy supported. They're shite. Hate that kind of music - if you can even call that music |

I was there. Celebrating my 21st.
Bootleg Beatles were superb. Started to get dark once Oasis were on. Super day in fairness. |

Was at that gig. Wasn't a big Moby fan but he was absolutely brilliant! Bryan Adams was a let down after and we left after about 5songs but I'll never forget Moby from that. |

Best was probably AC/DC at Donnington Monsters of Rock. Think it was '95 and the DVD and Live cd are excellent if you want to see/hear a band at the top of their game.
Other memorable ones were U2 in Croker in the 80's with In Tua Nua and others supporting.
Simple Minds the following year at Croker were excellent too.
Guns & Roses Wembley stadium on the Use Your Illusion tour really surprised me how good they were.
Rolling Stones Wembley stadium on Urban Jungle tour were brilliant.
Any Frames/Glen Hansard gig at Xmas time in Vicar St is an experience to cherish.
Something Happens at The Town and Country club London back in the'90s were great.
Metallica at some roller disco gaff in Dun Laoghaire (Top Hat?) in the 80's were stunning and have continued to be one of the best value for money ever since.
Sorry Jay but the AC/DC gig in the Point, a few months before Punchestown, much better gig. Better sound, bass went through your chest, along with not taking 3hrs to get from official parking lot to the actual gig!
Many more I could mention but I have to stop boring the pants off ye |
