As an Englishman with no prior knowledge of Hurling, last Sunday I found myself in a bar over looking the Shannon, watching the first semi. Have to say I'm hooked and will be watching this Sunday at home, I've no preference just hope it's as good a game as last weeks with a last second winner |

As a neutral I'd kinda like to see Waterford win. Having said that, I'd prefer to watch this Cork team playing at the moment. Having said that as well in hoping that Galway are finally bringing Liam back west of the Shannon this again this year. A fitting tribute it would be to Tony Keady. Earlier today I watched the clip of the late Joe MacDonagh singing on the Hogan Stand after Joe Connolly's stirring speech in 1980 and the west needs another one of those moments! It really was one of those memorable moments if there's anyone else here old enough to remember it! |
